We, cherryfans.com would like to clarify few things on behalf of the producer. There has been lot of confusion about the release date of Pawan Kalyan’s Komaram Puli. The movie story discussions were started in 2007 November. The Producer Singanamala Ramesh has started two big movies under kanakaratna production banner with two big & Crazy stars of Telugu Film Industry. Both the films (PULI & KHALEJAA) got delayed due to some unwanted disturbances and their schedules were badly affected and call sheets of the cast and crew were disturbed, So eventually both movies production cost has gone up. At this point of time, Ace Producer Allu Arvind bought the theatrical rights of the PULI and KHALEJA for Andhra Pradesh and another producer C Kalyan chipped in to rescue Singanamala Ramesh who is having problems with the financing the movies.

Komaram Puli Audio got release in the month of July second week and everyone expected the movie will hit the marquee in last week of July. Geetha distributors, who distributing Komaram Puli movie in Andhra Pradesh has done the business and blocked, booked the Best available theatres in the towns. Due to some technical problems and delay in re-recording, the movie got postponed. But Distributors, exhibitors and third party owners had to pay the theatre rent as they have theatrical agreements with the theatres and they are paying the rent since last one month. In cities the theatre rents are very high and due to uncertainty with the release date, few exhibitors cancelled the theatre agreements and released the theatres to other movies. Now that Komaram Puli is all set to release in the second week (September 9th precisely), we are having not so good or reputed theatres in few centers. Producer, Distributor and exhibitors are trying to get the best theatres and are having discussions with theatre owners and lessees. Fans are creating ruckus in some parts of the cities where they do not have the best theatres.
