Budugu Blah Blah by Jeevi

GAP! Woof!! I am not talking about the one-year gap Pawan has taken to churn out Khushi. I am talking about the clothing major GAP, the cloths Pawan Kalyan wore in the major part of the film. Looks like this Pepsi (poopsi, as referred by Coke) lover is fond of GAP clothing.

Navel! This is the most fascinating thing to be exploited by any of the Telugu film directors. So far, the use of navel was just confined to the picturesque songs. The Navel is supposed to be the central point. If you stand straight and stretch your arms, then the height of your body is equivalent to the length of your stretched arms. And if you take the center (crossing point of diagonals in that square) of that square, it's nothing but navel. It's not an exaggeration if I say that navel is the central point of the Khushi film. I can conclude that SJ Surya has outsmarted Raghavendra Rao in exploiting the navel to ht maximum effect. You got to see this film to believe it.

I have mentioned in my trivia for 'Eduruleni Manishi' that NIFT Hyderabad is becoming the slickest college location for Telugu films. Even Khushi is no exception. You know what? Recently, a hi-tech cinema hall was inaugurated in Hi-tech City of Hyderabad. This theater is named as Hi-tech Theater. And Khushi is presently running in that hall. The project leaders in Hi-tech city can become suspicious now if any of their team members went missing for three hours during the working days.

What a drunkard Pawan Kalyan is? This stupor has a sexy scene in this film where he makes fun of the Bhumika poster in his bachelor room, with a little help from another stupor Ali. Earlier we used to see these kind of scenes in Chiru films where he drinks a limited amount of alcohol and gives the audiences unlimited entertainment. And Pawan Kalyan has gone a step ahead and beaten Chiru with his action in the boozer role. He tried to imitate MS Narayana with his accent, though.

If Chiru has taken a break for a couple of months in USA after the mega flop of Mrigaraju, Pawan Kalyan has prepared to take his 4 months of break in USA after the stupendous hit of his film Khushi. After reading a news item in Idlebrain.com that Pawan is going to learn AIKIDO, one of the martial experts in AIKIDO of Manhattan has contacted idlebrain.com and extended their invitation to Pawan to train him in their Dojo (the school).

SJ Surya is the man who always wants to liberate the souls of the sex-starved Indians from their stinking bodies. In his first film Vaali, he concentrated upon the concept of incest, where the big brother lusts for the wife of his younger brother. In Khushi too, he was bold enough to make the heroine refer to the sexual intercourse with the hero. There is a particular scene in which Pawan Kalyan has a candle lit dinner with the vamp Mumtaj, during which the jealous Bhumika calls up and when the gasping Pawan picks up the phone, she misinterprets that he is just had sexual intercourse with Mumtaj. It takes conviction and boldness to have these kind of scenes in the film and at the same time make the scene universally accepted. And Surya has achieved it.

Now days, it has become a mandate that a successful love story should be of 3 hour duration. Murari and Priyamaine Neeku hit well with the viewers with their 3 hour tale. And Khushi too is geared up with its 3-hour beautiful narration of the love story.

They have declared a long weekend in software industry in India due to the holiday on 1st May 2001. And, I took it as an excuse to watch Khushi for five times. And I still want more! Yeh Dil Mange More! A Ha!!!!

I stay
-Budugu
